Another Great Roundtable Dinner!
Miami Young Agents Support SmartStart4Kids!
On August 30th, 2016 Miami YAC was excited to co-host our second Roundtable Dinner with AmPro. Our guest speaker, Rob Kenney, lead a great discussion on the topic of Employment Practices Liability coverage. The discussion included claims examples, ease of quoting, and industry trends. We would like to send a big thank you to Rob Kenney and Lourdes Gonzalez for co-hosting such a great and informative evening! Everyone walked away with a better understanding of the coverage and also tips on how to sell this coverage to the insured. If you have questions about EPL coverage or would like a quote, please contact Rob Kenney at firstname.lastname@example.org

This summer the Miami Young Agents Committee participated in the FAIA SmartStart4Kids school supply drive. School supplies and money were donated from local agencies and companies through the month of August. We were humbled by the outpouring of support! Although our goals were ambitious, the local insurance community came together for an amazing cause and showed us the definition of kindness.
On Saturday, September 20th, 2016, Miami YAC had the pleasure of dropping off the school supplies at Learning Links School – an alternative learning school for children with developmental disorders, learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder. It was heartwarming to see the reactions of both the teachers and parents when they saw the donated school supplies.
Best yet, Miami YAC was able to present Learning Links School with a donation of $250 for any additional supplies the teachers may need.
We would like to thank the amazing contributors to this year’s school supply drive: FAIA; Gil Garden & Avetrani Insurance; Kahn Carlin; Collinsworth, Alter, Fowler & French; Butler Buckley & Deets; Weston Insurance; LAAIA; and the many individual contributors.
